Free Student and Graduate ABIC Membership
The Aesthetic & Beauty Industry Council (ABIC) has now launched in Australia! This dynamic industry body represents a diverse range of disciplines in the field of aesthetics and beauty. Open to beauty therapists, dermal therapists, cosmetic doctors and cosmetic nurses, ABIC provides a more unified voice from industry to government in order to strengthen the profession.
AACDS Students and ABIC
AACDS is pleased to announce that all new students studying a full qualification in dermal science or cosmetic nursing will become a member of ABIC (Student Membership Category) upon enrolment. Effective from June 2021.
AACDS Graduates and ABIC
All AACDS students graduating from a full qualification in dermal science or cosmetic nursing will automatically gain full ABIC membership for a period 12 months. Effective from June 2021.
Aesthetics Medical Emergency Team (AMET)
AMET is Australia’s first aesthetic medical emergency team providing 24/7 support for aesthetic practitioners providing cosmetic injectables services. Both new and experienced cosmetic nurses and doctors experience complications. However, by carefully managing the complication with guidance from an expert team of doctors, the outcomes for patients are greatly improved.
Support for new AACDS Graduates
AACDS has collaborated with AMET to provide graduates of the 52852WA Graduate Diploma of Cosmetic Nursing and Injectables and the 52709WA Graduate Diploma of Cosmetic Nursing with a discount to access this important service. Upon graduation, you will receive a discount code to join AMET anytime in the first year of graduating. Valid from June 2021.
